There is no hard and fast answer to how much a person should weigh in order to be healthy. But, women need to be concerned about weight because it can and does affect overall health. Obesity, or being overweight, can result in premature death and can contribute to many problems, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, diabetes, cancer, breathing problems, arthritis, and problems with pregnancy, labor and delivery.
The first, and best, thing to do is to talk with your health care provider about your weight. Together, you can talk about what a healthy weight is for you, based on your height, build (bone size, amount of muscle) and age.
You can also use a tool called the Body Mass Index (BMI) to give you a pound range for a healthy weight. You take your weight and height and see where you fall on the BMI table for adults (see below). There is also a handy BMI calculator at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s web site (see resources at the end of this FAQ).
Some general guidelines for losing weight safely are:
• Eat fewer calories. The best formula for losing weight is to decrease the number of calories you get while increasing your physical activity every day. Depending on how active you are, you may need between 1,500 — 2,500 calories a day. A safe plan is to eat 300 to 500 fewer calories a day to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week.
• Lose weight slowly. It is best to aim for losing 1/2 to 2 pounds a week. By improving eating and exercise habits, you will develop a healthier lifestyle. And, this will help you to control your weight over time. You will also lower your chances of getting heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. ‘Crash’ diets may take off pounds faster, but can cause you to gain back even more pounds than you lost after you stop the diet.
• Exercise. Get active for at least 30 minutes every day. You don’t have to train for a marathon to be active! Brisk walking, gardening, riding a bicycle, tennis and dancing all count as exercise. You can also break up the 30 minutes into three 10-minute periods. To get even more active every day, you can do things like park her away from the mall in the parking lot and take the stairs instead of the elevator. The idea is to use up more calories than you eat each day. This will keep the calories from being stored as fat in your body.
• Eat less fat and sugar. This will help lower the number of calories you eat each day. Select foods whose labels say low, light or reduced to describe calories or fat, including milk products and cheese. Eat lean types of meat, poultry, and fish. Eat less sugar and fewer sweets (don’t forget that soda and juice can have lots of sugar). Drink less or no alcohol.
• Eat a wide variety of foods, including starches and dairy products. This helps your body to get the nutrients and vitamins it needs to be healthy. Include plenty of vegetables, fruits, grain products and whole grains each day. Don’t skip dairy products — there are many good tasting low, no, and reduced fat milks, yogurts, cheeses, ice creams, and other products to choose from. Proper calcium intake is needed for all women to prevent bone loss.
Starch is an important source of energy that all bodies need, even when a person is trying to lose weight. It is found in foods like potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, beans, and some vegetables. Foods high in starch can become high in fat and calories when you eat them in large amounts, or when they are made with rich sauces, oils, or other high-fat toppings like butter, sour cream, or mayonnaise. Stick to starchy foods that are high in fiber, like whole grains, beans, and peas.
• Practice portion control. Eat smaller amounts of food at each meal. Let go of belonging to the ‘clean plate club.’ Don’t feel like you have to eat everything on your plate, even when eating out. You can also try eating more small meals throughout the day, rather than three large meals.
• Get support. It can be hard to start a weight loss program, particularly if you are out of shape and not used to exercising. Ask your family and friends for support. Try to find an exercise buddy. Make your activity fun and social — go on a walk or hike with a friend or learn a new sport like tennis or ice-skating.
• Treat yourself (once in a while). When trying to lose weight, we all feel tempted to ‘cheat’ by eating a favorite, rich food like cake or cookies. But, sometimes it can be helpful to eat a small amount of a favorite food. This may keep you from craving it and overeating if you do ‘cheat.’

❤ Herbal Detox Tea & Watermelon Breakfast! ❤
* I n g r e d i e n t s *
— God’s Herbs Heal-All Herbal Tea, or other herbal tea recipes of your choice http://bit.ly/14fdjt
— Watermelon
* P r e p a r a t i o n *
— 1) Prepare tea according to package directions.
— 2) Cut watermelon.
— 3) Drink your tea, then eat your watermelon. Yes, it is that simple!
* I n s p i r a t i o n *
— Enjoy the simplicity of whole, juicy fruits for breakfast! Try to just stick to one variety of fruit for breakfast, if you can. Simple eating is good eating. For the calorie-conscious, the calories in watermelon and other juicy fruits is very, very low…but it is not about cutting calories, it is about eating more of the healthy foods and gaining health! The foods of nature are inherently all low calorie and low fat.
— What is a “Healing Crisis,” or a “Healing Event”? When you eat more cleanly, your body begins to release old toxins that were previously clogged up in your lymphatic system. You may find yourself having to blow your nose or coughing all the time, or on the more extreme end you may have puss come out of the skin, primarily in the locations of your lymph nodes. If you don’t know what is happening, then it can be scary…but now that you know that it is simply part of the process, you can relax! Your body is just getting that stuff out of you as quickly as possible, so give thanks!
— Nature doesn’t isolate. Nature is whole and pure. She knows what she’s doing! She is infinitely intelligent, and already had it all figured out for us! Have faith in her infinite wisdom. Each fruit and vegetable is a perfectly balanced piece of nature. It is NOT about eating 100% raw. It is about eating 100% HEALTHY. Eat the food that grows off the trees, or out of the ground. It is unfortunately today possible to be 100% raw, but totally unhealthy…for example, if you are basing your diet on heavy raw foods such as nuts, pâtés, dehydrated crackers and other dehydrated foods, raw vegan ice creams and other dessert treats.

Chopped Salad Recipes *
❤
Tossed Salad Recipe made with Mixed Veggies
plus a delicious Low Calorie Salad Dressing Recipe
❤
* I n g r e d i e n t s *
For the DRESSING:
— 3 Tomatoes
— 1-2 Oranges
— 1 Avocado
— 2 cloves of Garlic
For the SALAD:
— 1 head of Romaine Lettuce
— 2 Red Peppers
— 2-4 Carrots (unpeeled if organic, or peeled if inorganic)
— 1-2 Cucumbers (unpeeled if organic, or peeled if inorganic)
* P r e p a r a t i o n *
— 1) To make the dressing, roughly chop the tomatoes, and toss into your Vita-Mix blender, or other high-powered blender of your choice. http://bit.ly/GZsuq or http://bit.ly/3OTXD9
— 2) Use a manual citrus juicer or a citrus hand juicer to squeeze the juice of the orange into the Vitamix as well.
— 3) Roughly chop the avocado and toss into your Vitamix along with the 2 cloves of garlic, and blend until desired consistency is reached.
— 4) Roughly slice the romaine lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces and toss into a serving bowl. Or, another method is to tear the leaves by hand into smaller pieces. (OR, you could even serve the leaves whole and intact and serve with the dressing as a dip!)
— 5) Cut the centers out of the red peppers, then slice the red peppers, carrots & cucumbers all into bite-sized chunks, and add to your salad.
— 6) Drizzle dressing over salad or offer it on the side…your lunch or dinner is now served; enjoy!
* I n s p i r a t i o n *
— I am not anti- superfood or anti- supplement, I just find that I don’t need them that much. I personally prefer the “spacious” foods…fruits and vegetables.
— I feel good on a low fat raw vegan diet! But I don’t prescribe to any diet with any religious fervor…I still listen to my body. For example, in the winter I find that I need more fat to stay warm…e.g., nuts. When you do eat nuts, try to only buy ones that still have the shells on them, so that you eat them more slowly…and hence don’t overeat.
— If you fill yourself up on a nice healthy, delicious, *simple* and filling salad every day, you can’t really go wrong!

— If a surgeon wanted to “cut” me right now to get rid of excess fat, I would try going with the raw fruits and vegetables first! Juices would be ideal, but if that isn’t possible, then I would eat whole, living fruits and leafy green salads.
— The electricity and the life force of the fruits and vegetables enliven the body to heal
— This will give one the chance to move further and deeper in the healing, even if not ready for the full on vegetable juicing.
— Even if it is a heavy raw food like coconut cashew cheesecake, if that is how one has to start on the raw food path of healing, then so be it…just absorb the love!
— Do the best you can…always.
— Remember, it is NOT about eating 100% raw. It is about eating 100% HEALTHY…with as much raw fruits and vegetables as possible.
— A good salad dressing makes the raw food diet possible!
— Raw food gets some systemic energy into you, to allow the process of healing to begin to unfold.

Working aerobically on your abdominal muscles for over 7 minutes stimulates the capillaries in this area. These in turn increase the blood flow. A greater blood flow means a greater flow of oxygen – and fat only burns in the presence of oxygen. Toned muscles need more calories (kcal) to stay active. Our organism tends to release these calories from the area nearest the muscle, in this case the waist area.

http://www.squidoo.com/warp-speed-fat–loss
Here are 2 really fast weight loss exercises to lose weight in just a few days. You can forget about jogging and all that other typical cardio nonsense, these exercise are WAY BETTER.
Fast Weight Loss Exercises to Lose Weight
1. Quickest way to lose weight with exercise is to do hindu squats
Sounds like something hard? Nope, it’s not hard at all. It’s really simple. Do you know how to squat? If yeah, then all you do is squat… but do it as fast as you can and do it over a period of 5 minutes. No weights are needed. Just you and your body.
To get the most out of this exercise, try to do it non-stop. People who average 20+ squats a minute and over 100 squats in 5 minutes are the ones who get unbelievably fast fat loss results.
One tip… if you can’t quite do 100 squats in 5 minutes, then build up to doing the whole 5 minutes by starting with doing fewer minutes but averaging at least 20 squats per minute. Slowly build up from there.
2. Jumping on a mini-trampoline 2 minutes at a time
This is a quick way to lose weight without even sweating. And the best part is you can do these during tv commercials since they last about 2 minutes. In fact, if you have a favorite 1 hour tv show, just watch that show and do this during all the commercials. You’ll get in an easy 20 minutes of exercise that way.
These are 2 fast weight loss exercises to lose weight at a rate that is beyond anything you can do at a gym even though you never have to leave your home to do them.
If you’re SICK and TIRED of getting the same old boring weight loss advice… you know, like “Eat more fruits and vegetables, drink 8 glasses of water, jog, and blah blah blah”, then…
